Beekeeping Educational Opportunities

Many states hold regional or statewide beekeeping schools or other activities, especially in the winter months. These events offer a great opportunity to learn either basic beginning beekeeping (most winter/spring schools include special beginner tracks) or further your beekeeping knowledge if you are an experienced beekeeper. In addition most of these clinics include trade shows, with vendors displaying and selling beekeeping equipment and some feature special guest speakers including nationally known beekeeping researchers and beekeeping educators (the folks that write in the beekeeping magazines).  Below is a listing of SOME upcoming regional or statewide beekeeping education events. In addition, many local associations will offer beekeeping classes or local schools, for information on more local educational opportunities visit my “Find a State or Local Beekeeping Association” site. If you know of a school or clinic in your state and would like me to list it, drop me and email and better yet, send me the URL.
